Overview

The relationship between Reality Interactive and BMW began at the birth of our company over a decade and a half ago. Our contribution to how BMW interacts with their consumers digitally has increased every year since.

Reality Interactive has built Interactive experiences at dealerships which include digital signage that provides a platform for BMW to speak to customers waiting in their showrooms. These screens promote seasonal, location specific, real time offers. We also built a moblie app to showcase key features and allow for car customization while waiting, shorten perceived wait time, and provide other engagement opportunities.

A few years in to the partnership we designed and developed BMW’s on line catalog then later enabled it to take consumer orders that could then be fulfilled by local dealerships via on site or delivery. This unique feature allowed consumers to still interact with their preferred local dealership and take advantage of  BMW certified installation.

In 2018, the Reality team worked with BMW to launch their first ever online preorder for their new X7 vehicle. This led to record breaking pre-order sales for the X7. In 2019, Reality Interactive expanded the BMW website to include hard parts, selling original BMW replacement parts for the DIY BMW enthusiast. Currently, we are developing a complete redesign on the eComm platform for North America, so stay tuned.
