We are very please to announce that Bob Radcliffe will join the Reality Interactive team. Bob will lead Reality Interactive’s strategic partnerships and relationships across all regions and verticals.
“I can’t imagine a more exciting time to join Reality Interactive,” said Radcliffe. “They’ve earned such a great reputation in the industry for their quality of work, and have helped so many A-class brands. It’s an exciting period of growth for the company and I’m looking forward to being a part of it”.
Bob Radcliffe brings more than 20 years experience in the retail industry to the role. “I literally grew up in and around the retail display industry,” said Radcliffe, whose parents had a successful retail fixture business.
Prior to Reality Interactive, he served as National Account Director at TDC, an award-winning point of purchase branding and design agency. With his strong background in design and engineering and his deep knowledge of the retail environment, Bob is often asked to speak on how to deliver effective digital retail installations for brands. “With the rise of disruptive apps and the Internet of Things, there is a lot of cool technology out there, but it can still miss the mark. I always encourage clients to see things from the customer’s perspective. It can’t just be ‘cool’ – it also needs to be appealing and useful to the customer”.
Bob was one of the original pioneers in omnichannel retailing in the late 1990’s, having worked with Mercanti systems in setting up their ‘buy online and pick up in local store’ system. More recently he worked with Luminext, a revolutionary DC lighting infrastructure that included using sensor technology to capture data that translates into actionable insights and customer benefits. “It’s important to have a deep understanding of what’s possible, but also how we can package that and apply it in ways that are practical and unique to every brand and retailer. This comes from studying the habits and behaviors of people that the brand wants to reach”.
“We are excited to have Bob join the team,” said Craig Martin, Partner, Reality Interactive. “The combination of his understanding of the retail environment and culture, as well as his enthusiasm for enhancing it with technology make him an ideal fit. “
