The challenge
To increase sales and conversions by letting clients customize their own vehicles with virtual accessories.
In order to craft an international solution, the team had to overcome the challenge of a highly complex data set, imagery, and models in multiple languages, as well as country-specific codes and options.
Finally, three-dimensional models had to be created and put through an extensive QA process due to the complexity of options and interdependencies.

Then, we took a mobile-first approach to design a uniquely BMW experience. An expanded desktop experience took customers even deeper into what was possible.
Now, BMW drivers can view a limitless combination of accessories, on their own vehicles. Within the same experience, they can also compile a shopping list and book installation.
Not only did the BMW Visualizer enhance the customer’s digital experience, anywhere, it became a critical tool for dealerships and product teams.
