We are very excited to be exhibiting again at GlobalShop 2016, the world’s largest annual trade show and conference dedicated to store design, visual merchandising, and shopper marketing. The show will be held between March 23 – 25, at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
For the past few years now, we’ve been an industry exhibitor at GlobalShop, however this year, you’ll find us in a new section of the show – the Bricks and Clicks centerpiece exhibit. This exhibit is designed to help retailers and brands meet the rapidly increasing demand for a seamless digital and in-store shopping experience. It’s a curated and solution-oriented destination for store planners, designers, and retailers who are in search of products to integrate digital innovation into their physical retail space and we’re looking forward to being a part of it.
Why is integrating digital innovation into physical retail spaces important? In a recent report, the company InReality (an in-store analytics and customer experience firm) surveyed 682 US Shoppers and found that 69% of shoppers said they would be more likely to buy in-store if given self-help technologies like kiosks or interactive displays. The report also found that 78% of respondents indicated a greater propensity to buy in-store if given self-help options to find a particular product.
In a recent interview with Warc about the report, Gary Lee, president and CEO of InReality said “Shoppers’ new expectations of digital technology in-store is one of many shifts changing the role and function of bricks-and-mortar stores. To remain competitive, brands and retailers in bricks and mortar will have to quickly become just as smart, data-driven and agile as they are online,”
We look forward to connecting with you at the Bricks and Clicks Centerpiece exhibit and demonstrating innovative ways to bring digital into your instore experience. You’ll find us in Aisle 3100, Booth 3143.
