Coke Celebrates 20 Years of Democracy by Creating Rainbows

In celebration of 20 years of democracy in South Africa, also known as the “Rainbow Nation”, Coke created a number of giant rainbows.

 

To make the rainbows Coke used recycled water which was sprayed in the air at the right angle to capture the light and reflect a rainbow. The rainbows were spread throughout the city. Coke also put sprinklers near the bottom of the rainbows, so people could run through them.
