Last week, Matt from the creative department & I had the opportunity to see the brand new Comcast Xfinity store located in West Hartford CT.
Inside the majority of the in-store interactions were conducted on iPads. The iPads were on a ‘hard mount’, and were used, in part, for customers to check-in.
Though out the store there are product bars to allow customers to experience services including; Xfinity TV, Xfinity Voice, and Xfinity Internet.
The store features an Xfinity Home area, which is a working, interactive demo.
All in all, there were an estimated 15 iPads, three product bars, two large TV screens hooked up to the cable boxes,and two pay kiosks. Matt even tested the POS system by buying something!
