The Digital Signage Expo (DSE) is the biggest trade show in the digital signage industry.
It only happens once a year and we are thrilled to have been a part of it. This three day conference was held in Las Vegas and featured exhibitors from the top companies in digital signage. There were also 26 seminars presented by industry leaders.
Configuring the Interactive Environment
In addition to exhibiting at the DSE, our Creative Director, Doug Hampton-Dowson, spoke in one of the 26 seminars. His presentation, “Configuring the Interactive Environment” covered how the moving parts of the interactive environment come together through the collaboration between technology and design teams. This seminar explained that to determine the technologies needed to achieve the desired outcome, the overall customer experience needs to be considered.
Digital signage and interactive projects are developed in close collaboration with architects, interior designers and other design professionals. The goal of this session was to discuss how to close the gap between design and technology, in order to create a seamless and functional experience for retail experience projects.
Conrad Chin, Environmental Design Director at FAME also presented with Doug. The session was moderated by Bryan Meszaros, Principal and Managing Director at OpenEye. This seminar closed out the show on Thursday February, 13 from 4:00pm – 5:00pm.
